Focus Meteor Caller ID USB Unit is a Caller ID device for decoding the Caller’s telephone number from the telephone line and presenting it on a virtual COM Port of a PC. This product is powered entirely from the USB port. This is a hardware only product and can be used with your existing software to create a fully integrated call management solution. Advisory Recommendation: Disable USB Root Hub Power Saving The Comet derives its power from the USB connection. Users may experience problems with the operation of the Comet if the PC or Epos Terminal to which it is connected is allowed to turn off the USB Root Hub and hence switch off the Comet. It is strongly recommended that the Power Management for the USB Root Hub is disabled.
